Tracy McKenna is a mixed‑media artist working from my garden studio in Penryn, Cornwall, where she sculpts expressive creatures, fantastical specimens and fae. She creates artwork shaped by the Cornish landscape and by my passion for British and Celtic folk art, craft, and heritage.
Tracy studied at the Arts Institute Bournemouth, receiving a High Commendation from the Royal Society of Arts. Her work has been exhibited across the UK and in France in both solo and group shows. Each piece is handmade with careful attention to detail, character and traditional making techniques, offering collectors unique, folklore‑inspired artwork with personality and charm.

Since 2016, Hog and Tallow has been creating small-batch tallow soaps and balms using beautiful local ingredients. Originally based on the Somerset-Dorset border and now in Cornwall, the company makes products with minimal environmental impact, using West Country grass-fed tallow, home-grown and foraged botanicals, beeswax, waste beer and charcoal fines. All packaging is recycled, reused and plastic-free.
Dark Cornwall has partnered with Hog and Tallow to create a custom range of soaps inspired by the character personas developed for our website: Morvoren, the Droll Teller, the Warrior, the Pellar and the Wild Folk. Each bar reflects its character through a carefully selected blend of ingredients, botanicals and fragrances.
