About the event
The Dark Folklore Fête is an immersive gathering celebrating the folklore, craft and living traditions of Cornwall, set deep within the extraordinary underground world of Carnglaze Caverns. Throughout the event, the caverns are transformed into a realm of dragons, giants, ancient spirits and subterranean beings, brought to life through large-scale installations, storytelling, performance and ritual.
Across the day and into the evening, visitors can explore talks and fireside conversations, live droll telling through music, poetry and puppetry, a carefully curated Makers Market, and moments of reflection rooted in the land and its history.
