A Mythical Creature Reimagined
We are seeking an artist to create a single commissioned artwork that reimagines a vision of a well known Cornish mythical creature. While the specific subject will be revealed to the selected artist, the commission will require both imagination and technical skill to bring a fantastical being to life in a way that feels strikingly real.
Style and Approach
We are looking for hyper realistic, full colour illustration work with a strong emphasis on detail. The piece should capture the uncanny beauty of deep sea life and the otherworldly qualities of mythological beings. An ability to portray bioluminescence, both subtle and bold, will be key to this commission.
Medium and Format
Digital and physical mediums are welcome. The final artwork should be created at A3 size but must be of sufficient quality to allow enlargement to larger ratios if required.

Commission fee: £400
This will be a full buy out commission
50 percent payable on confirmation, remainder on completion
Timeline
Artist selection: as soon as possible
Final artwork deadline: 22 October
