About the event
On St Piran’s Day, at Trelissick House, join Dark Cornwall for a captivating 35-minute lecture on the significance of St. Piran's Cross, Cornwall’s oldest stone cross, standing sentinel in the windswept dunes of Penhale Sands. This ancient relic, dating back to at least 960 AD, is more than just a marker of time—it embodies the rich tapestry of Cornwall’s history, legend, and spiritual heritage.
Presented by Rob Vickery, founder of Dark Cornwall and expert on Cornish folklore, this lecture explores the miraculous story of St. Piran, Cornwall’s beloved patron saint.
